About Bethany

I am Bethany Hann, BSW, RSW. I provide therapy with warmth, curiosity, and practical support for children, youth, families, parents, and individuals.

I believe people heal best when they feel safe, understood, and supported.

I am a Registered Social Worker, BSW, RSW, and a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I am also a proud mom of three, which deeply informs my understanding of family dynamics, child development, and the everyday challenges parents and caregivers face.

I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where individuals, children, and families can feel safe, understood, and supported. My approach is practical, compassionate, and emotion-focused.

I draw from a variety of evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy skills, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

Open Path was created from a desire to offer safety, connection, and possibility. My hope is to help you discover what works for you, build on the strengths and tools you already have, and move toward growth, healing, and your fullest potential.

Warm

I work to make therapy feel approachable, human, and safe.

Practical

I focus on tools and insight that can support real life outside of session.

Collaborative

I do not believe therapy should feel like being judged. I work with you, not over you.
